St. JOHN presents

Languedoc Wine Tasting

2 October 2018 - 7:00pm

The Languedoc is home to St. JOHN’s own winery, Boulevard Napoleon, and holds a very special place in the hearts of co-founders Trevor Gulliver and Fergus Henderson. Trevor will be talking you through five of their favourite wines – wines that you will have come across on your visits to The Bridge – including the debut for the brand new Cinsault 2016 from the beautiful medieval Boulevard Napoleon winery, and magnums of rosé to mark a memorable evening! Discover the importance of the local terroir and how it affects every aspect of the winemaking, and the final glass. Hear more about garrigue, that fragrant and vital local feature.

Trevor will entrance you with wild tales of local Languedoc life and Fergus will, with Bridge head chef Valter, be putting delicious snacks on your plate including St. JOHN classics such at Welsh Rarebit, decadent Crispy Pig’s Skin to complement those wines and Salt Cod to spirit you to the South of France. And of course Fergus will be joining you to raise a glass or two! À votre santé!
