How To Find Us

The Bridge Theatre is located just between City Hall and Tower Bridge and is well served by public transport to within a short walk.

You can use the TfL journey planner or Citymapper to plan your route to The Bridge Theatre.

Tube or Rail

The nearest tube or rail station is London Bridge (Northern and Jubilee lines) which is a 10 minute walk to the theatre. Take the exit for Tooley Street and follow this road towards Tower Bridge. You can also travel to Tower Hill (Circle and District lines), a 15 minute walk over the river via Tower Bridge.

Alternatively you can also take the following buses from London Bridge Station: 47, 343 or 381 or from Tower Hill Station: 42 or 78 and alight at stop ‘Tower Bridge/City Hall’

Bus

Bus Routes 47 and 381 stop on Tooley Street, get off at stop ‘Unicorn Theatre’ which is around a 7 minute walk to the theatre. Bus routes 42, 78 and 343 stop at ‘Tower Bridge’ which is the closest bus stop to the theatre. Bus route 188 stops a 5 minute walk from the theatre at the bus stop on Druid Street.

Bicycle

Bicycles and scooters of any kind are not permitted inside the venue as we are unable to safely store them. The nearest public bike locks are by The Real Greek (300ft from our entrance) or on Tooley Street. Please bring appropriate locks with you on your journey.

Tooley Street also has two Santander Cycle docking stations.

Coach

There is a free coach bay on English Grounds off Tooley Street (entrance on Battle Bridge Lane; maximum stay 20 minutes). Check the TfL website for more information as the roadworks on Tooley Street may cause restrictions.

Car or Taxi

If arriving by car or taxi, you can find up to date information on roadworks, traffic and closures on the TfL website. The Bridge Theatre is located just within the boundaries of the congestion charge zone.  Nearest parking is here and drop offs can be made on Potters Fields (next to the LaLit hotel) where there is level access to the entrance of the theatre. Bridge Theatre audience members can receive a 20% discount on parking at Q-Park, a five minute walk to the theatre and just outside of the congestion charge zone. You need to pre-book 24 hours in advance here using the discount code BRIDGE20.

Visitors to the Bridge Theatre can also receive a 10% parking discount on nearby parking by redeeming the code BRIDGE10 on YourParkingSpace.

Boat

London Bridge City Pier is an 8 minute walk to the theatre. Thames Clippers runs regular ferries to the pier.  You can find a list of routes and times here.
