Feedback from teachers

“It was fantastic. I thought that the opportunity for students to see a totally different type of staging is incredible and it was such a fun, feel-good show”

Clare Fearnley, Head of Drama, Emanuel School

“I took 50 Year 9 students and they were engaged and enthused throughout. We are still discussing the show 4 months later. It helped my cast with their characterisation for our Summer production of Bugsy Malone. The production values and synthesis across all technical elements is
incredible”

Natalie Maher, Director of Drama, Colfe's School

“Absolutely fantastic. Really loved the immersive element, almost felt part of the show! Definitely recommend standing, such an experience to be so close up to the cast who were outstanding”

What to expect when your school visits Guys & Dolls at The Bridge

When you arrive, let our security team know which school you are from so that our front of house team will be ready to greet you once you complete your bag checks.

Once inside the building, you’ll be directed to our Cloakroom, where you can hand over bags and coats to be safely stored for you during the show.

You’ll be given wristbands for everyone to wear. Each school wears a different colour, so that we can identify you during the performance.

Now’s the time to pop to the toilet, or grab yourself a drink and a snack at the bar. Our front of house team will welcome you in once the auditorium opens.

Our immersive standing tickets allow audience members to move around the space freely and choose where to experience the action from. Keep an eye out from any New York cops – they are our movement stewards, who are on hand to guide you around and keep you safe as the stage rises and falls.

In the interval, you can leave the auditorium and go back to the foyer, take a breath of air outside, or stick around and enjoy the ambiance. If you do leave, make sure to listen out for announcements that will tell you when it’s time to head back inside.

Once the show is over, it’s time to return to the cloakroom and pick up your coats and bags. The queue can look quite long, but moves very quickly.

It’s time to say goodbye, but don’t forget to snap a photo under the Guys & Dolls sign in the foyer!
